Shinmoedake volcano located in Kirishima southwestern Japan has erupted Sunday after almost a couple weeks of relative peace and quiet, sending ash and rocks up to 4 KM to the air. It wasn’t instantly related if the eruption would be a direct result of the previous 8.9-magnitude earthquake that rocked Japan Friday, releasing a fierce tsunami and causing fears that more than 10,000 people might have been slaughtered. The level of volcano warning is 3 from 5, the area is restricted for anyone.
