Verizon Wireless has recently revealed the launch of a new phone for its customers, namely the Samsung Intensity II. The new handset is already available for purchase on the Verizon’s website and should be available for sale through the wireless carrier’s Communications Stores within the following weeks.
The new handset, which features a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, offers one-touch access to some social networking websites like Facebook, Twitter and MySpace.
The new mobile phone comes with an exterior battery cover that has been made out from recycled plastic. Moreover, the new Samsung Intensity II has an eco-calculator that lets users to track car fuel mileage, estimated amount of carbon dioxide emitted, and so on.
Samsung Intensity II is available in two color options, namely Deep Gray as well as Metallic Blue. In term of specifications list, you can see the a horizontal slide-out QWERTY keyboard, an external numeric keypad, a 2.2″ screen display which offers a QVGA 240 x 320 pixel of resolution, 1.3-MP camera with night vision capability, Bluetooth support, microSD memory card slot and many more.

The Samsung Intensity II could be purchase via the wireless carrier’s website for $49.99 after a two-year contract and a $50 mail-in rebate with Verizon Wireless. You can also buy the device via Verizon Wireless Communications Stores, but you’ll need to wait a bit longer, as the device will be available in these stores in the following weeks.
