After launching TuneLink Auto Bluetooth in-vehicle streaming device for iOS devices, New Potato Technologies appears again with a version for Android-powered smartphones.
Just like the iDevice model, this one also uses a Bluetooth transceiver as well as an FM transmitter for wireless streaming of audio from an Android-powered device to a car’s sound system. In addition to wireless streaming, there is also a 3.5mm audio jack for direct connection.
In order to integrate your phone with the TuneLink, users will first have to download a free app from the Android Market. TuneLink also allows users share its Bluetooth connection with other compatible devices. With New Potato’s Humbuster noise elimination, it can theoretically prevent any engine and any electrical noise from disturbing with its connection.
TuneLink’s in-vehicle streaming device for Android-powered smartphones
is compatible with Android devices that have A2DP Bluetooth feature. It will begin shipping as of mid-January for $100.
