Toshiba Intros NB550D AMD Brazos-powered Netbook

Toshiba Germany has just unveiled on its website the incoming NB550D 10-inch netbook which is based on the NB520 model. However, the NB550D model features AMD’s new Brazos platform and runs the C-50 (Ontario) APU offering two Bobcat x86 cores as well as DX11 Radeon 6250 graphics.

Will be released in three colors – Lime Green, Brown and Orange, the NB520 netbook features a metallic finish and weights only 1.32kg. Specs wish, there is a 10.1-inch LED-backlit display, a 1GB of RAM, a 250GB of hard drive, Ethernet LAN, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0`connectivity, a VGA webcam, a HDMI output jack, a couple of Harman Kardon speakers, as well as a 6-cell battery for up to 9.5 hours of running time per charge.

Toshiba NB550D 10-inch netbook will be pre-loaded with Windows 7 Starter and set to become available in Q1 (2011).
