The hotly-rumored PlayStation phone is so real, or at least, it’s becoming a reality since it has been handled and leaked in pictures but only have not yet announced by Sony Ericsson.
What we know so far is that the forthcoming gaming-ready smartphone will be running Android 2.3 (or 3.0) Gingerbread, the Sony Ericsson PlayStation phone will also feature a 1GHz Qualcomm CPU, 512 MB of RAM, 1GB ROM, a rear facing camera with flash, gaming-specific buttons, a multitouch pad and a microSD card slot. There is also a touchscreen, but its size wasn’t confirmed just yet, we know it will be between 3.7-inch to 4.1-inch.
The release date and its pricing details are still unknown, but considering that the Android Gingerbread OS isn’t even officially unveiled yet, the device will not officially announced in the near future. Sony Ericsson might be unveiling their PlayStation phone at CES 2011.
