Microsoft has made and run a Google Docs rival, namely the Office Web Apps. Just like Google docs, user can view, edit, and share Office documents anywhere with only a browser and an internet connection.
A few days ago, Office Web Apps has received its first major update which is making a number of changes and bringing new features into it. It also has wider reach as it became available in seven more countries – including Australia, Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Russia, as well as Switzerland.
In addition to the wider global reach, Office Web Apps also got performance and reliability improvements, bugs fixes, and have been included some extra features. Users can now embed PowerPoint presentation or Excel files on their blog or website, and they can now viewing Excel workbooks via mobile phones, and much more
