Nokia today unveiled two new low-cost candybar-shaped smartphones – the C2-01 as well as X2-01. The first new comer will be the X2-01 which measures 119.4 x 59.8 x 14.3 mm and weights around 107.5 grams, features a QWERTY keyboard, and a 2.4-inch display (resolution : 320 x 240). Nokia’s X2-01 phone also offers a VGA camera, GPRS/EDGE support, an FM radio, supports memory cards of up to 8GB. Nokia’s X2-01 will be hitting store shelves this quarter at €80 (without taxes or subsidies).
While the counterpart, the C2-01, it measures 109.8 x 46.9 x 15.3 mm, and features a 3.2 MP camera, a 2-inch display, an FM radio, Bluetooth, support for cards up to 16GB, 3G data. Nokia’s C2-01 will be powered by Series 40 OS and is expected to hit market in Q1 2011 at about €70.
