Nokia 5250 Now Official


Nokia has just released official pictures for a new touchscreen handset, without specifically disclosing which model the device is.

Of course, we have already caught sight of this phone before, and if you always in touch with the news, you’ll know that it’s the upcoming Nokia 5250.

Nokia 5250 is the successor to the Nokia 5230 which was released on the US market as the Nokia Nuron.

So if you were preparing to get your hands on the Nokia 5230, perhaps you would better to shift to the 5250 instead.

Update: The Nokia 5250 has been officially announced via the company’s Facebook page. MSRP at €115 (around $145) before taxes and operator subsidies.

The specifications list of the Nokia 5250 includes a 2.8-inch, 640 x 360 pixels touchscreen display, a 2-MP camera on the back, GPRS/EDGE connectivity, 51MB of internal memory, the Symbian^1 operating system as well as a superb battery that capable of providing up to 7 hours of talk time or up to 18 days for standby.

Nokia 5250 comes with a music player on the home screen, social networking integration, FM radio, and a free copy of the acclaimed Guitar Hero 5 Mobile. In some markets, the 5250 will offer Ovi Music Unlimited, letting user to download as much songs as they want (for a limited period of time).

The upcoming Nokia 5250 will be hitting the store shelves sometime in the Q4 2010 in various color models.
