Samsung Electronics America has announced that its latest wireless printers, The Samsung CLP-325W and multifunction CLX-3185FW will be coming in mid-January 2011 with Samsung’s new Polymerized Chemical Toner technologies which is touted to be able creating high-resolution and high-gloss prints with less image destruction.
Both models The CLP-325P and CLX-318FW will support up to 17 pages per minute for monochrome (black and white) printing and 4 pages per minute for color mode. Users can select either 1K or 1.5K yield toner cartridge, which supports Samsung’s polymerized chemical toner that’s claimed to consume less energy (a 35 percent savings in electricity) while delivering durable prints with less image destruction over time.
Other features of these printers include the one-touch Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) button for quick and easy wireless connection set up. Both printers will be able to automatically connect to the user’s home wireless network for wireless printing in less than two minutes.
The CLP325P model is a more basic printer, costs $199.99, while the CLX-318FW model is multifunction printer that can copy, scan, as well as fax with an on-board LCD control panel screen for navigating through the menus and options; the CLX-318FW model will be priced at $399.99.
