MSI Europe has today unleashed the August-announced FX610 notebook which is powered by AMD platform. The new laptop is running Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit, and features a 15.6-inch LED-backlit display with resolution 1366 x 768 pixels. In Europe FX610 notebook comes in two base models, the FX610-P3443W7P and FX610-P8447W7P.
The FX610-P3443W7P model comes with a 2.2 GHz Athlon II P340 dual-core cpu, a 4GB of RAM, a 320GB of HDD, a Mobility Radeon HD 5470 graphics card with 1GB of VRAM, Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi connectivity, a HD webcam, a 4-in-1 card reader, a pair of ‘theater class’ speakers, a HDMI jack as well as 6-cell battery. The FX610-P3443W7P model is priced at €599.
While the FX610-P8447W7P model comes with a 1.9 GHz Athlon II P840 triple-core CPU, 500GB of HDD, and like the FX610-P3443W7P model it includes Gigabit Ethernet, built in 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, a HD webcam, a 4-in-1 card reader, a pair of ‘theater class’ speakers, a HDMI output as well as 6-cell battery. The FX610-P8447W7P model costs €699 in Europe.
