LG Electronics is rumored to bring 3D to more devices, including smartphones. Seen above is an invite for a February 14 announcement (the 2011 Mobile World Congress begins on the 14th) that indicates at a 3D Optimus-branded phone.
There is no specifications were released just yet, but previous leaks indicate that LG’s glasses-free smartphone will feature a 4.3-inch 800 x 480 resolution touchscreen display, Nvidia’s Tegra 2 3D chip (AP25),two 1.2 GHz Cortex-A9 cores.
Hopefully it could be a great breakthrough for LG Electronics who has been pushing hard to gain more of the smartphone market.
