It’s not clear yet how cold this happen, but a ridiculous rumor indicating that Facebook is shutting down is spreading fast on the net. Facebook is rumored to be closed on March 15, 2011. FYI : Facebook is likely not taking a day off or undergoing maintenance but closing down entirely.
Regardless of the reason for this rumor, I think this is ridiculous. Facebook has more than 500 million users and a $500 million investment from Goldman Sachs and now is rumored to be closed ?
