The arrival of Windows Phone 7 is likely getting closer than we predicted judging by the leaked picture from the Australian carrier Telstra roadmap. The leaked picture shows an unannounced WP7-powered HTC Mozart, which is planned to hit store shelves in October.
So far, Microsoft has only announced that Windows Phone 7 will be released during the holiday season this year. There’s no exact launch date or month of Windows Phone 7 OS, but this leaked Telstra’s roadmap hints that the WP7 is close to release and we don’t have to wait until the holiday season after all.
GadgetVenue reported that the picture was photoshopped from HTC Desire, however the poster is not and seems to mention that the HTC device called Mozart with WP7 is will be available in near future.
The picture, larger below, is actually a badly photoshopped HTC Desire with Windows Phone 7 kind of stretched partly over the screen. However, the poster is real and seems to confirm that the HTC Mozart with WP7 is landing in a few months time.
From the picture above, we could see that the HTC device will retail for free on a AUS $49 plan (around 43 US dollars). So, what do you think? Do you think it’s a real device or just a hoak ?
