Aside from St. Patrick’s Day and Pi Day, this week we will also celebrate John 3 16 Day. What exactly is John 3 16 day you might ask? It apparently was a way honor the following passage from the Holy Bible on March 16th or 3 16.
“For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.”
Slightly serious – either you die or you have eternal life – but that’s how those religions role. No matter where you’re religious leanings rest, it’s essential for all of us to try to know – and be respect – the beliefs of other people. John 3 16 is a nice starting point to begin a conversation about what several Christians hold as truth.
