Habey USA is a manufacturer best known for manufacturing small, portable and, fanless devices that could be easily hidden. And now, the company came up with a new fanless desktop, named WIT-1800.
The new WIT-1800 is a compact Intel Atom based fanless embedded PC which features four mini-PCIe slots and dual SIM for 3G wireless support.
The WIT-1800 embedded PC is based on Intel’s power-efficient Atom, ranging from N450 to D410 processors plus ICH8M chipset.
this tiny desktop can get online almost anywhere, in fact, when Wi-Fi might not readily be available. And just like most desktops, it also supports SSDs (solid-state drive) and has a VGA output, a serial port, a couple USB 2.0 ports, a Gigabit Ethernet port, one CF slot and a couple SMA sockets for 3G antennas support.
It also has a rugged ultra-compact fanless enclosure design which makes near-silent operation. The device is perfect for mobile 3G network G/Cellular-Based Digital Signage, wireless communication appliances, and many other 3G wireless related applications. Unfortunately, there is no pricing information is available yet, but given the device is a niche device, don’t wish it comes in cheap.
