Google has just released an update for its Translate app for Android. The new update brings a number of improvements include a new look and a Conversation Mode.
Conversation Mode lets two users who are attempting to talk to each other to speak into the phone, while see the conversation translated easily before them. At this point, Conversation Mode works best for only translating conversations from English to Spanish and Spanish to English. Support for other languages is expected to be added over time.
While the new look makes the interface cleaner not to mention easier to use with new drop-down menus for language choices. The new translate app for Android is already available for download in the Android Market and you will require an Android 2.1 device or newer to try it.
