CSL Spice Mi700 DroidPad-Rebadged ViewPad 7 Tablet

Malaysia-based company CSL has just released the DroidPad Spice MI700 in its domestic market. DroidPad Spice MI700 is apparently a rebadged/renamed of ViewPad 7 from ViewSonic, it is a 7″ multitouch tablet which is powered by Google Android 2.2.

DroidPad Spice MI700 measures 179.4 x 110 x 11.5 mm and, just like its ‘long lost’ counterpart from ViewSonic, it offers a Qualcomm MSM722 600MHz processor, 512MB of memory, Built-in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 3G connectivity, GPS, a back-facing 3 MP camera, a microSD card slot, a G-sensor, 3.5mm audio jack and a USB port. There is also a 3240 mAh Li-Pol battery that’s touted to last for up to 6 hours.

DroidPad Spice MI700 tablet is priced at about $518, more expensive than Apple’s flagship product iPad, not to mention there is no Flash support and access to a lot of apps via the App Market.
