Canon will be updating its PowerShot A series of digital cameras with four new models this quarter. Four new models are the PowerShot A3300 IS, A2200, A1200 and A800.
The A3300 IS comes equipped with optical image stabilization, a 5x optical zoom, a 3-inch LCD screen, a 16 MP CCD sensor. The A3300 IS has 720p video recording capability plus 32 predefined shooting situations to help beginner get the best shots. The A3300 IS will be launched in late February with a price tag of $180. The camera will be available in grey, red, blue, silver and pink.
The A2200 model offers a 2.7-inch screen, a 14 MP sensor, a 4x optical zoom. Just like to previous model the A3300 IS, the A2200 also features 720p video recording capability along with 32 predefined shooting situations to help rookie get the best shots. The A2200 digital camera is scheduled to become available in March with a price tag of $140. It comes in black, blue, silver and red.
The next we got PowerShot A1200, the camera also offers a 2.7-inch LCD, a 4x optical zoom, a 12.1 MP sensor, 720p video recording capability plus 32 predefined shooting situations to help beginner get the best shots. PowerShot A1200 is expected to come in March with a price tag of $110.
The last, we got PowerShot A800. This model has a 10 MP CCD sensor, a 2.5-inch screen, 3.3x optical zoom. Unlike the pervious models, PowerShot A800 doesn’t feature 32 predefined shooting situations. PowerShot A800 will be hitting store shelves in mid-February @ $90.
