BenQ To Introduce 10.1″ R100 Android Tablet At CES


BenQ, a company that is best known for its monitors products, has also announced its plans to release a tablet at CES 2011. When the show begins from Las Vegas next month, BenQ will be on hand to introduce their first 10.1-inch tablet.

The upcoming tablet has a 10.1-inch 1024×600 resolution touch panel, a Samsung processor clocked at 833MHz, 8GB of storage, an SD slot, a mini-USB / mini-HDMI port, a 3.5mm audio jack, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth connectivity and a battery that last for up to 12 hours of reading.

There is also a unique feature that might be new on tablets offering, that is the language support; it could be used for note-taking, and users can handwriting on it. Moreover, it also supports English or Chinese, both simplified and traditional characters.

Hoever, BenQ hasn’t announced on a price yet, and they are also not going to release images of the upcoming tablet until CES. So please stay tuned, that’s not too far out now!
