As expected, Asus would be rolling out first Eee PC netbook based on the Atom N550 dual-core processor (1.5 GHz). According to Notebook Italia, Asus has just begun making first shipments of its new netbook flagship, the Eee PC 1015PEM.
The Eee PC 1015PEM basically is the 1015PE with the dual core processor and will feature a GMA 3150 graphics chipset, a 2GB of memory (DDR3), a 250GB HDD, Wireless connectivity, 10.1″ widescreen LCD display with a 1024 x 600 resolution, Windows OS as well as support for 720p HD video playback.
The new netbook available in several color options, among them are red, black, white and pink.
The Asus Eee PC 1015PEM is available in Europe right now and scheduled to land in the UK in October for 349 Euros (around $450). There is no word on release date for North America has yet been announced.
