Android upcoming release Gingerbread, a.k.a Android 2.3, might be here as early as 11 November according to “trusted sources”. Trusted source from IntoMobile.com said that “the SDK for this upcoming revision will debut on November 11th.”
The timing is in connection with the US release of the Samsung Galaxy Tab and rumors of the upcoming Nexus Two phone.
Despite there is nothing official coming out of Google, that hasn’t stopped the company setting a huge statue of a gingerbread man outside its offices indicating a launch is imminent.
There is no details as to what phones Android 2.3 will be hitting to first or whether there would be hardware requirements, and thereby there is no hints at all on which handsets will be getting it.
