Acer is likely planning on finally unveiling its LumiRead in Germany, after introducing it at IFA 2010.
Today Acer spokesperson has announced that the LumiRead eBook reader will be coming in the retail channels in Germany this October.
there is no exact price has not actually been announced yet, but word is going out that it will be priced at 250 Euro, the equivalent of $316.
Acer claims that its LumiRead has access to one of the widest German-language e-libraries on any eReader, which must be the main selling point in Germany.
Benefits of the upcoming Acer LumiRead include built-in Wi-Fi, 3G wireless, a 6-inch 800 x 600 pixel E-ink display, as well as a Barnes & Noble content partnership.
