Acer Introduced beTouch E120 and beTouch E130

Acer has just introduced a couple of new Android-based smartphones yesterday – they are Acer beTouch E120 and Acer beTouch E130.

Both, beTouch E120 and the QWERTY-bar E130 have a lot of the equal specs in terms of connectivity, as they come with Bluetooth, 3G+, Wi-Fi, HSDPA, and GPS pre-installed. The new handsets also have the equal 3.2 megapixel snappers, M Radio and ST Ericsson 416MHz processors, 256MB RAM and 512MB ROM.

Acer beTouch E120 features 2.8-inch QVGA touchscreen, while the counterpart beTouch E130 features a 2.6-inch QVGA touchscreen display with full QWERTY keyboard in a candybar form factor. The QWERTY bar form factor is certainly a new thing in the Android based phones.

Both beTouch phones run Android OS v1.6 and will come with additional software like Facebook and Twidroid apps so that users can stay in touch with their buddies at all times.

The new handsets will be rolled out in Q3 2010 in black and white color choices. Acer beTouch E120 planned to hit store shelves in mid-July, while its sibling E130 is planned to be available in August. Unfortunately, there is no official pricing yet.
